No Bull – Drive2 Shoes – the “new chapter”
The Tall Take
The NOBULL Drive 2 (non-Ripstop) delivers on comfort and cross-training performance—but the full mesh upper across the entire shoe is something you need to know before buying.
Fit & Performance
This part is solid.
- True to size
- Stable for training
- Comfortable enough for all-day wear
No complaints from a performance standpoint—this is what NOBULL does well.
The Material (Deal Breaker for Me)
The entire shoe is built with mesh—not just panels, the full upper.
- Extremely breathable
- But completely see-through in areas
You will:
- See your socks
- Notice color contrast immediately
- Have to think about what you’re wearing with them
For me, that turns a simple “grab-and-go” shoe into something that takes effort.
Style Reality
This is where I missed.
- I chose white → not the move
- The mesh makes everything underneath more visible
- Clean look is harder to maintain
👉 If you’re buying these:
- Go with bold or darker colors
- It makes the mesh feel intentional instead of awkward
Ripstop vs This Version
After wearing these, I’d go Ripstop next time—no question.
- Cleaner look
- Less see-through
- Easier to wear daily
Same brand feel—just less hassle.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Comfortable and stable
- Lightweight
- True cross-training shoe
Cons
- Full mesh upper (not partial)
- Socks are always visible
- Requires effort to style
- White color is tough to pull off
Final Score
72 / 100
They perform exactly how you’d expect—but the full mesh design makes them less practical for everyday wear, especially if you care about keeping things simple.
